Volunteers are the superheroes we call when Thunder Pride needs extra hands, extra ideas, and extra community support. Whether you want to help at events or support the work behind the scenes, there are many ways to get involved.

We deeply appreciate every person who offers their time, energy, and skills. At the same time, Thunder Pride still has deadlines to meet, guidelines to follow, and community standards to uphold. When you sign up, we want you to understand the expectations so we can work together respectfully and successfully.

Ways To Help

There Is A Place For Your Skills

Volunteering can happen at public events, behind the scenes, or through creative and administrative support. If you have a skill, interest, or a little time to give, there may be a way to help.

Event Help Festival support, setup, teardown, guest direction, vendor support, accessibility help, and general event assistance.

Creative Support Copywriting, graphic design, social media ideas, poster support, photography, video, and campaign planning.

Behind-The-Scenes Help Admin support, outreach, volunteer coordination, research, organizing documents, community resources, and planning support.

Community Support Helping with education, advocacy, membership, fundraising, partnerships, and year-round programming.

Before You Sign Up

We want volunteering with Thunder Pride to feel welcoming, meaningful, and organized. Volunteers may be asked to follow timelines, communicate clearly, respect deadlines, and work within Thunder Pride’s guidelines, policies, and approval processes.

Signing up lets us know you are interested. It does not guarantee every volunteer will be contacted right away, but we will reach out when your skills, availability, or interests match an upcoming need.
