The Pride Parade
Canada’s Pride parades began in the 1970s as both celebration and protest, evolving into vibrant symbols of 2SLGBTQIA+ pride. For Thunder Pride, our parade honors this legacy and unites our Northwestern Ontario community in a joyful show of solidarity. It’s a highlight of our year and a testament to how far we’ve come.
The Pride Festival
Our Pride festival is the heart of Thunder Pride’s annual celebrations, bringing together the community for a multi-day event full of music, art, and connection. It’s a joyful showcase of 2SLGBTQIA+ culture and a space where everyone is welcome to celebrate diversity and inclusion. The festival highlights local talent, fosters a sense of belonging, and reflects the vibrant spirit of the North.
